Today, the eternal love of Tanhe has become a cultural business card of Ningxiang City. Every year on March 3rd of the lunar calendar, a grand celebration is held locally to commemorate this historical story. On this day, people will hold a grand sacrificial ceremony on the banks of the Tan River to express their respect and gratitude to Zhang.
