Changbai Mountain Closure Notice 2023 (Tourist Instructions, Tourist Attractions, Temporary Closure, Important Announcements)

Thank you for your continued support of Changbai Mountain Tourist Attractions and attention. In order to better protect the ecological environment of Changbai Mountain and improve the quality of tourism, the Changbai Mountain Management Bureau has decided that starting from 2023, Changbai Mountain will be temporarily closed and suspended from receiving tourists.

1. Reasons for temporary closure

As an important natural heritage and tourist attraction in my country, Changbai Mountain carries rich natural resources and ecological environment. However, due to the influx of large numbers of tourists for a long time, the ecological environment of Changbai Mountain has been seriously damaged. In order to protect the ecological balance of Changbai Mountain, restore vegetation growth, and reduce human interference, it was decided to temporarily close Changbai Mountain.

2. Time for temporary closure

Changbai Mountain will be temporarily closed from January 1, 2023, for a period of two years. During this period, tourists will no longer be received, and various tourism services in the scenic area will also be suspended.

3. Instructions for tourists

1. During the closure period, tourists will not be able to enter the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area. Please arrange your travel plans accordingly.

2. Please pay close attention to relevant official announcements to obtain the latest opening hours and related policies.

3. During the closure period, the Changbai Mountain Management Bureau will strengthen inspection and monitoring of the scenic area to ensure safety and order during the closure period.

4. After the closure period, Changbai Mountain will reopen and welcome tourists for sightseeing, leisure and adventure.

IV. Important Notice

Please inform each other, abide by relevant regulations, and do not enter the closed Changbai Mountain Scenic Area without authorization. Any violation of the closure regulations will be punished by law.
